HABIT: Upright, neat, stiff branches
GROWTH RATE: Slow, 4 to 6" per year
FLOWERS: March/April, white or pinkish, 4 to 6" long pendulous, last for several weeks
FRUIT: Not significant
SOILS: Moist, acid, well drained, soils, amended with peat moss or organic matter
LIGHTING: Full sun to part shade
USES: Border or mass planting. Good to add with Azaleas and Rhododendrons.
MAINTENANCE: Reasonably trouble free
