HABIT: Small tree, single and multi-trunked, nice tree
GROWTH RATE: Medium
FLOWERS: March/April, purple, effective
FRUIT: October, not significant
SOILS: Moist, deep, well drained soils, pH adaptable, and does well in other soil types too.
LIGHTING: Sun or light shade
USES: Nice specimen tree or groupings
